On the instructions of DPO Sheikhupura Zahid Nawaz Marwat, City Muridke Police during a special operation against drug dealers arrested the alleged drug dealer husband and wife and recovered 12 kg hashish worth lakhs of rupees.
The police have registered a case against the accused under the Prohibited Drugs Act. It has been reported that SHO Police Station City Muridke Wali Hasan Pasha, during the action against drug dealers, arrested a couple who were dealing in wholesale drug business in Muridke town and recovered 12 kg of hashish worth more than 15 lakh rupees from their possession.
According to the police, the alleged drug peddler family had been preying on the youth of the area for a long time, and during the police operation, they used to save themselves by taking shelter in the neighbors’ houses. According to SHO Wali Hasan Pasha, no one will be allowed to destroy the young generation and the society will be protected from drug dealers by pushing them behind bars.
